Yes you can. go to display settings and highlight the hdmi channel for tv.

You don't need 2 remotes you can do it right thru the TV itself, you'll see a little icon that looks like a little TV with man arrow on it

I haven't found a way. We did what insignia support said, set to last input, but that didn't work

You can have go to whatever you were last watching when it was on. Go to "Settings" "Display & Sounds" "Power Controls" . Then Highlight "Last Input" and hit select. The check mark should move from "Home" to "Last Input"
