“We are trying to install this TV in a home with internet service, but no wireless. Despite choosing the HDMI input, every time the TV is turned off and back on it goes to the "looking for wireless network"--which doesn't exist. Please advise.”

go to settings, then connections, then Network,nthen to expert settings find WiFi and just unclick it off and on ect
