• I bought this. When I tried it, it did turn back on. I use this as a monitor for a Raspberry Pi to run a PHP page that displays the current and next month's calendar.

• I would think so, it would be like unplugging it and plugging it back in.

• In my experience no, the tv turns off and won’t reboot unless you hit the power button again.
