• You need to use the TV remote to turn the TV On/Off and control the volume. This is normal. Use the Roku remote to control the Roku device.

• Go to the remote setup in the Roku settings because the Roku Stick and Roku Ultra remotes will control this TV's on/off and volume.

• I have an older tv, 2014 model, and the newer Roku remote will control the volume and turn the tv off.

• All I can say is that it was easy to make my Direct tv remote do all I want from my remote. Do have fire stick that I use.
