This TV is not a "Smart-TV". It will not receive programming from an app, such as Netflx, Prime Video, or You Tube unless you are willing to buy somethi9ng like an Amazon Fire-Stick, a Roku, or Apple-TV. It has two HDMI inputs, so you would plug the ancillary streaming device into one of them. Insignia has an upgraded model at a slightly higher price that is an actual "Smart-TV" with the ability to play apps. They refer to it as a "Fire-TV", which means that it has all of the options that a Fire-Stick has, built into the TV. I've installed both models and they both have a good picture for a 720P TV, and have so far proven to be reliable for inexpensive TVs.
