This is a DE-humidifier—It takes moisture OUT of the air. So you don’t add water to it.
And it does come with a short hose.

This device takes the water out of the air, so not sure what you mean? Doesn’t come with a hose but it works great!

no hose is included, you will need to purchase a hose and lead it to a drain for it to run continuously

Distillate would be better because there are no minerals in it to build crystals. You have to purchase your own hose or cut off a length of an old hose if you have one.

Hello Jenny,

Distilled, filtered and soft water should be used in the humidifiers. You can choose to use tap water but keep in mind that hard water will leave deposits in the unit and will require more maintenance. You may also notice white dust coming from the mist. These are the minerals from the tap water.

The package content includes: User Guide, Dehumidifier and Power cord bracket only.
