The optimal temps for this fridge to run well/with no issues is the 50-85F in the manual. The fridge will still work between 10-100F, but it will struggle and use a lot more electricity to maintain internal temperatures.

The office temp (at least for part of the day) I can guesstimate hits 85-90 degrees at it's highest during those times but that would be for a few hours only as the sun moves over the roof rather than directly through the windows. Also, since the fridge/freezer doors aren't open at all during the off days, the temp would be better regulated as well. The unit is still working like a champ but we've had it for only about a month. We had a compact unit that lasted about five years in the same condition and I'm surprised that the compact unit lasted that long. I am hoping this unit lasts the same or longer and since the freezer is a separate compartment, that is also a plus. If your garage isn't at near 100 degrees on the regular, I don't see why this unit wouldn't suffice your needs...... unless you're expecting a service life of 10+ years which I would then suggest you might as well go with a bigger unit so the compressor can handle the changes.
