In the troubleshooting part of the manual, in reference to the problem of "The outside of the refrigerator is hot," the answer is given as "Heat dissipation from the condenser make the outside feel hot. This is normal and happens if: 1) The room temperature is high, 2) You have too much food in your refrigerator, 3) You open and close the doors excessively. So, I guess whether it is "normal" depends on whether any of those factors are at play?
