You can get it that cold but would have to set it to colder than recommended. The recommended setting is 4. At this setting with each shelf packed pretty full and not opening the doors every few minutes it can maintain 37 degrees easily. If you increase the number to 5,6, or higher it will cool further… however it will use a lot more power and for some food items you may develop frost and adversely affect those items. Can it hit 35 degrees sure. Just don’t open the doors a lot or leave them open for very long. Get what you need and go. When loading it up, the temp is likely to get up close to 40-45 because it’s small and with the door open you just let all the cold air out. Plus you’re putting warmer things in. Just close the door and leave it for 30 minutes to an hour and it should be back in the 30s.. It’s not like a full size fridge that blows cold air in from vents. It’s more like an electric cooler where the walls are chilled when the freezer section is cooled.
