“Does the 4.5 cu ft total capacity include the freezer? My son's dorm allows a mini fridge/freezer up to 4.5 cu ft, so I need to know if the 1.35 cu ft freezer capacity actually makes the total bigger than 4.5 (4.5 + 1.35), or if it's included. Thanks!”

The 4.5ft measurement imcludes the freezer. Overall the size and the refrigerator is worth every penny. I definitely would recommend the insurance. I bought my fridge for my boys room and who knows what could end up happening to it.
