Is this unit energy efficient null

YES! IT IS! You will not be disappointed. I might add "Very, very quiet!"

Seems to be as it only runs occasionally. I like mine as it is in my office within 5 feet of me, it runs very quietly and keeps things very cold and frozen hard. Great small Freezer/Fridge combo and I am happy I bought it.
