I wouldn't say that it charges rapidly but it does charge note 3
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This cord won't charge it any faster or slower than any other cord. It all matters what you plug the other end into. You can use any 5.5V device charger that has a USB female socket. Plug the cord into that and you'll be charging. Some chargers are capable of charging faster than others due to their internal circuitry. The cord has little if anything to do with that unless it's a really thin and poorly make cord. These cords are as good as any in my opinion.

I haven't noticed it charging faster but it does charge both the S5 and Note 3. My understanding is that this particular cable is mostly for use in transferring data -- the charging port on the Note 3 and the S5 have worked with just a regular micro connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Rapid charging has nothing to do with the cord at ail. I didn't know this at first either. The actual rapid charge plug is what you need to buy. Its just s block looking piece that has the plug ends that go into the wall outlet with the slot that the USB part of the plug goes into. When purchasing, it will say "rapid charger:" you can then use any cord that has a USB end and the end that fits your product.

I'm assuming it will rapidly charge your note 2 as well because when I bought it, the best buy sales associate told me it's a rapid charger without specifying for what phone. So, I think it will rapidly charge all phones that are compatible.
