Hi Jsny, From home screen go to Settings>System>Power>Standby LED>Off Insignia Products Lisa https://insigniaproducts.com

Why yes take a hammer and a screwdriver put the screwdriver on the little red light hit the hammer to the screwdriver and the little red light will no longer work
