“Hello, Is it possible to program the tv to power on to a certain input, say a cable box, instead of the fire TV menu? Another words, when the TV is powered , can the cable input come on the screen instead of the fire TV menu? Thanks, Marc”

Yes you can. I have mine go to the cable tv input on power up. When it comes up, you will see a little window pop up indicating the unit has done an input change to in this case the cable input.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Go to your settings icon on the fire menu( looks like a star wheel). Click on display & sounds. Look for "power on". "Home" will be the selected default. change it to " last input" & your set will power on to the input you had on on
