• That will depend on which Model Mac you are looking at. The Retina models will require an adapter. The new MacBook uses a different type of USB port so you would need to get a compatible adapter.

• Yes. If your Mac has a thunderBolt or USB 3.0 port you will need the Ethernet to thunderbolt or Ethernet to USB. I would go with the Ethernet to thunderbolt adapter which is $29. All Best Buy stores have them as well as an Apple Store. Hope that helps.
