“Does anyone know if you can watch Netflix & Amazon Prime on this TV or do you need to have a Smart TV to do this? I used to have an RCA 55inch from 2013 & it was not a smart tv. I was able to watch Netflix & Prime so just curious if you can with this one?”

Hi. This model does not have smart functions and will not be able to stream channels like the ones you mentioned nor any others. I highly recommend you to check out our Fire TV Edition TV models, which all are smart and can stream thousands of channels. Cesar G. - Insignia Support
