• if it is wired to your cable box, you can use it that way, but you can NOT access the features of roku, amazon channels, etc without wifi, i'm fairly certain. Nice tv either way.

• You need internet to stream content. If you do not have internet, you can hook up an Antenna or Cable/Satellite box to watch TV.
