• I don’t know about if the headphones are plugged in but I do know when my husband is wearing his Bluetooth headphones I can still hear the tv

• Try to use a 3.5 mm splitter to hook up headphones and a soundbar.

• No, once you plug in a headphone into the headphone jack, the Tv automatically senses the plug in and discontinues the Tv speaker sound. I know, because this is what I use on this particular Tv.
