“I got 58 inch firetv edition, I want to know how to cast from my laptop. I am not able to cast, when i tried with Roku then I was able to connect and cast. I thought as it is a firetv edtion we should able to cast/screen mirroring directly”

Hello, Thank you for giving us your trust with this Fire TV. I understand how important it is for you to have the correct information about being able to cast. I would like to inform you that these TVs are not capable of doing said feature yet, we are still working on this characteristic for the feature. For the moment, if you want to cast your laptop you will have to do it by a HDMI cord through the back of your TV ports.
