Hi, Keke. While this and all our Fire TV Edition TVs can, in fact, connect to a mobile hot spot, we always recommend to have a steady strong network, since hot spots are not 100% reliable to provide the amount of internet these TVs tend to use. Cesar G. - Insignia Support
