“We just bought this tv, and we cannot figure out how to adjust the screen settings. Our cable guide is too large, so we only get 3/4 of it seen,& then we can't have a full screen on movies and shows. There is no "aspect" setting on this tv we can find .”

Your cable box should have some more advanced settings for all of this. Look into that instead.

Select Display - Picture Size, then change the setting.
