• Every 4k TV should have upscaling. Maybe the responder misinterpreted your question. A 4K TV cannot support 1080p resolution without internally upscaling it to 4K, or it would look terrible

• This TV does not change the resolution of the video. Press and hold the Home button for 3 seconds to display the Quick Access menu, select Info to see the resolution of the video that's playing. David M. - Insignia Support
