Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it definitely can be used indoors. You want to place it on a level floor. If your floor is not level you need to put a leveling piece underneath it whether it's a pallet landscaping rock something along those lines to make the area level. Make sure you don't put it on carpet directly there again put something over the carpet beneath the freezer to prevent a fire hazard but it works great indoors. I believe the manufacturers May there again in my humble opinion May rate it garage outdoor because it has something to do with the exterior that it may be a smidgen thicker not for sure
