Some devices with compressor motors, fan motors etc don't use much power while running, but use a LOT when started from a dead standstill. My 7 CF Insignia runs fine using a Xijia 3000W (Peak Power 6000W) dc 48v to 120V ac 60HZ Pure sine Wave Solar Inverter. Using a 600w PV array feeding my 48v battery bank, my freezer (plus some other loads) runs quietly. Seems like the load only needs 300w on average. However, I didn't like seeing the voltage drop during compressor start-up when using a Xijia Pure sine Wave Inverter 2000w dc 48v Inverter to ac120v (Peak Power 4000W). This is a Back-up inverter to run sump-pumps if the 3000 watt inverter dies. These inverters have a power-on soft-start (AC volts slowly increases to 120v in a few seconds), but it's of no help after the inverter is running for a while, and the freezer turns off and on at random. That's why I over-sized my inverter to 3kw.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Connect this freezer to a 115V 60Hz AC wall outlet.
