QuestionSee attached photo of black rubber piece, only 3/4" long. I found it on the floor after unpacking 7.0 cu.ft. chest freezer. I cannot find a hole on the freezer that the piece would fit. Did it come from the freezer?

QuestionThe delivery people said the freezer was laying on its side at the warehouse and said to let it sit for 24 hours. Will this affect it's longevity? Did not read promising things about this situation online.

QuestionI bought this freezer over the weekend and all is well, EXCEPT….when the lid is opened and closed it appears to “lock” or freeze closed. If we wait 30 minutes or so, the lid will then open normally. Why?

- Answer This could be caused by warm air getting into the freezer when you close it the air cools and contracts creating a vacuum making it difficult to open the freezer. Slowly air will leak in eventually equalizing pressure.
