• We found the same thing. We noticed and other reviewers have mentioned that after you close the door, the door pressure seals itself and it typically takes about 1 minute before the door will open again.

• The has a really good.seal on it, which is what you want in a deep freezer. Place your hand on the top and you'll feel a slot for a strong grip, and hold the freezers side as you pull the door open.
