I just plugged it into the normal outlet that I have in my garage -- regular household current -- no special outlet required. But it must be a dedicated outlet with nothing else plugged into the same outlet. And do not use an extension cord, it must be plugged directly into the outlet. It might require an electrician to install an outlet close enough for you to plug it in.
