“How much space do I need behind my couch to put the stand up with the screen above the couch?”

Its a variable vertical height, but the tripod stand has about a foot of space on the back leg. So, it cant be flush against a wall unless its hung from the ceiling

This allows enough room for the tripod base, which extends to nearly 6 feet in depth, and provides a bit of buffer space for safe setup and airflow. Additionally, your couch should ideally be no taller than 36 inches so the screen’s viewing area remains clearly visible above it.
