• A:Answer I have only purchased 25' cables, but I don't see any reason why you couldn't. Ethernet cables work to about 300' with no problem. I generally just use connectors to make temporary longer cables, since I only have a temporary need for any thing longer than 25' cables.

• A:Answer I see what you mean, but this specific cable is not made for outdoor use. This cable was made specifically for indoor Use only. I suggest you find a cable the same size but made for outdoor and indoor just in case you do change your mind.

• A:Answer Sounds like you need a modem to plug the "cable" cable into, then you'll plug an Ethernet cable from the modem to the PC. A better and more secure way would be to put a wireless router between the modem and PC which will keep you protected from the Internet.

• A:Answer The cable jacket is only rated for indoor use. Dumping coffee on the cable jacket will not hurt it. But the cable jacket will not stand up to the weather. The connectors are standard molded plug in style, and are not waterproof. You can run this cable as a finished installation in a dry basement, attic, or suspended ceiling. But, the cable will not take high heat, and can not be run near lighting fixtures, stoves, electric heat baseboard, and so on. The old rule of thumb applies, if you can not hold your hand continuously where you want to run the cable, do not run the cable there!
