Perhaps your wall outlet is not properly grounded. I'd tried a different wall outlet in another room. Both lights should be on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not normal! I think it’s an indication that your wall socket is not connected to a earth ground.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just a suggestion, and not trying to be rude, but one should check to ensure their ground is truly grounded. Coming, from an Amateur Radio and Computer background. Some houses have aluminum wiring. The wiring actually becomes loose from expansion and compression, the ground could be loose at the terminal. Tightening the terminal is simple a quick if you know your way around an electrical box. However, if you don't, and your not mechanically inclined, stay away, from the electrical box. Have a friend or someone you know to take a look at it, before spending any cash calling anyone out. Personally, I would take the protector to a friends house and test it, if the light lights up, then you know your problem is the ground wire to your plug and not the protector. Hope this helped you some. Good luck and stay safe around electrical boxes, and always protect your electronics.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use an outlet tester cheap at home depot or Lowe's. Maybe the plug or potentially wiring not proper or coming off an older system with no ground
