Q: QuestionWe are using the Media player to display a static image on the television using a thumb drive inserted into the USB port. Even with the sleep timer set the television is turning itself off every 15 minutes or so. Why is it doing this?
Asked by JoshPanteao.
- A:Answer The solution is to trick the TV. What you need to do is, from your computer, make a folder on a flash drive, put the single image in that folder. Put the flash drive in the TV. Go to the Media input. Scan to the folder and you will see the single image. Click on the image. This is where the TV will show the image and close after 15 minutes. However, if you click play on the remote it will trick the TV into thinking it is showing a slide show with one image. I change the slide show to dissolve. This will fix your problem.

Q: QuestionI currently run an Apple TV as my streaming device of choice. I have it set up with CEC and to power in to last input. When powering on the TV it still ends up at the Home Screen. The TV is up to date on the latest firmware. Any ideas on how to fix?
Asked by Mrfire.
- A:Answer Hi Mark! Thank you for your question! To set your TV to automatically switch to the last input, start by navigating to Settings from the home screen, which is located on the right side. Then, go to Display and Sound settings, select Power Controls, and choose Power On. Finally, select Last Input and ensure that a checkmark appears next to it. Once you've completed these steps, you can switch the input by pressing the Settings button on your remote and selecting the option where your streaming device is connected, such as HDMI 1 or HDMI 2. Let us know if this resolves the issue! — Shiela | Insignia Support

Q: QuestionWhat's the difference between the F40 series and F50 series?
Asked by KingKicks23.
- A:Answer The Insignia F50 series is superior to the F40 series, offering a better picture with Quantum Dot technology, Dolby Vision HDR, and DTS Virtual:X audio. The F50 series also has more advanced features like HDMI eARC, multiple HDMI 2.1 ports for gaming, and a wider range of screen sizes. The F40 series is generally a lower-end model, with basic LED, 1080p resolution, and 60Hz refresh rate specifications.
