The inner pot is aluminium with Teflon coated. Teflon is good in new. But it is fragile. Ones it cracked or wear out, It is not health to cook salty food. Because the salt will corrupt the inner aluminium pot. Aluminum chloride(AlCl3) may damage nerve.
