I am using my original cover, but it doesn't sit in 100%. It's not loose and still works, though. Pictures are in my review. I am not sure about other copies of this battery. Hope this helps!

Can plug in while you play & it charges the battery, or just leave the Xbox on to keep charging when you're not playing. Best part, you don't have to change the batteries every time you play. & you can still play without the cord

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Unlike the docking chargers, the battery goes completely inside and charges via the USB port. There's no need to change the cover. Having said that, I think the docking style chargers are more convenient, and after using the Charge & Play kits for a while, I am considering going back to the docking style chargers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.just bought yesterday, 3/2/17, battery snug, make sure you snug battery in slot. then my cover at first seemed to not slide as easily, but pressed with thumb harder and it slide and fit snug and tight. looks normal to me.
