“I have an an older 27" LG monitor. I am concerned that the bracket on the arm of the new stand will not work. Is that a concern? It is a model E2722PY. Thanks In Advance”

I am not entirely sure what you are referring to in regards to the bracket, so I will answer the best that I can on multiple regards. Your specific model is compatible with VESA mounting, so the mounting bracket should work just fine. It's got both VESA compatible mounting holes (something I realized that my Samsung monitors differed in), so you should be good. The arm and bracket itself supports a stated 22lb per arm, with a capacity of 44lb in total. From personal experience, I am not entirely sure of this certification. One of my monitors weighs about 14-15lbs and the monitor arm sags a bit under its weight. It's a bit worrisome but it does seem to droop at a defined height. Your monitor without the stand seems to be about 12lbs, so you should be alright. However, you may experience a droop or sag of the arm.
