Can it be tightened to as to stay in a fixed position? null

Yes! You need a special wrench but bolts can be tighten. I don’t need it as it’s pretty sturdy and it does not move. You have to apply ALOT of pressure to adjust so it stays sturdy for sure. I love it

Stand is very tight and sturdy. Once you put it in the position you want, it wont move from there.
