You might go to Best Buy and inquire if the bolt pattern on the back of the 82 inch is the same as a 75 or 80 inch TV. I own a 75 inch Samgsung and it fits perfectly for that size TV.

If you can get the TV attachment to screw on, no problem. You'll need to measure the size and distance of the mount holes on the back of your TV and compare to the specs of the wall mount unit.
