This extractor allows HDMI input from your TV and passes video through to another HDMI device while extracting audio via either optical (SPDIF) or 3.5mm analog output. It supports up to 5.1-channel digital audio through the optical port, which is compatible with your Denon receiver. However, it’s important to note that the extractor does not support eARC-specific features like Dolby Atmos via TrueHD and does not convert audio formats. Therefore, your TV must be set to output Dolby Digital (not LPCM) over HDMI ARC for the Denon to decode the signal properly.
