Yes it will, i have a 8 some year old monitor and it hooks up just fine to the brand new laptop i just bought

Yes, the adapter will most definitely do that. Look into newer monitors with better resolutions, wider displays and smaller more space friendly sizes!

Yes it will. I have a new laptop with HDMI ports and with this adapter I was able to use an older monitor with VGA port

It's VGA, as long as there's a VGA connector on the monitor this will work with a VGA cord.
