• I assume the Galaxy Note Pro has the same special output as the Galaxy S5, which is the phone I have. It should still be able to handle the micro USB as I use it for my phone and have yet to have any problems with it.

• Yes, I use this to charge my Samsung galaxy 8.0 with no problems, they both use the 2.4 amp charger.
