“Will this work for a hp Google chromebook? We lost the charger to my daughters chromebook and it takes a micro usb charger but so far nothing has enough juice to charge it. Does anyone know if this has enough amps to charge her tiny laptop? So far we haven't been able to find any answers online or any help from anyone at Best Buy so this is kind of a last resort.”

Based upon my experience with my ASUS Transformer and it's pickiness with the charging cable, I think this one should work for you as well.
