• It only plays what your regular computer speakers would play. Not sure what you mean by "talk"?

• No. The speaker does not talk. It does make a power up sound with a beep and then another beep when it connects. When you turn power off it plays a power off tune. I personally like these helpful features and the sounds are pleasant. .

• This speaker doesn't talk at all. When it is powered on and connected it makes a quick chime sound, and the same sound is heard when shutting it off.
