Today got this morning mini speaker from INSIGNIA ..was on sale with a dirt cheap price of 12:99 .I never bought anything from INSIGNIA ( rumors that it's a less expensive company so products might compromise quality ) .But the today's discount from Best Buy ( a $27 break ) lure me to stop at Northern Blvd Best Buy store and jumped inside to grab this apportunity . Brought it home .once get relaxed from cooking and shower .open the box and pair it with my Motorola E 4 .Play Tony Igy Time (remix ). Wow this tini tiny thing is super .I moved my into my music collection's page 1980 right away cause as a dialysis patient 3 times in a week for 3 and 1/2 hour I listen the music on my phone as a DJ entertaining not only myself but fellow patients & pretty nurses .So click What a feeling .Irene Cara۔ Superb

Insignia Mini Sonic Portable Speaker Is a nice little Bluetooth speaker with booming sound. While it doesn’t have too many features it has enough for the needs of the modern world. For a low price the Sonic Mini packs big rich sound for whatever area of the house you put it in. The sound quality is phenomenal for something in this price range. Everything is about as clear as it can be while maintaining strong bass throughout. Miss and lows are about what you expect but songs with layers to sound may get lost. When placed in a bathroom, sound amplify loud enough with only Distortion and very max volumes. Call quality wasn’t as great as people on the other end said I sounded like I was “underwater” and “muffled” but I don’t intend to use this as a phone speaker. Battery life is excellent lasting me as long as I need it to be. This is one of the strong points about the device is that the battery life does a great job maintaining stability and stamina. Also the range hits about 30+ feet away from your Bluetooth device, this is excellent if you’re Further away from your device and can even travel through walls upstairs and downstairs through floors. Sonic Mini also water resistant which comes in handy if you wanna hang it in the shower or put it next to a sink. From my initial testing it handled water drops/beads dry well. Once the ports are securely closed, you can bet no water is getting inside. Such an excellent and useful feature this speaker is packing at this low price point. The appearance and aesthetic of the speaker is not bold or striking any visual way. It doesn’t need to be to do its functions but there is no flare, flash, no LEDs lights to tell this speaker apart from another. While the design is lacking the usability is certainly there, there is no denying that this speaker is rugged enough when it needs to be and can handle high drops. Impact resistance is here as well as I dropped it on the hardwood floor and it was still fine albeit a few scuffs. Sonic Mini is barebones but it gives you all hard button controls on top of the device. Play/Pause, Vol up & down, Bluetooth button, and power button are located at the top. Side is an LED indicator to you know when the device is charge. As well as flaps to close the ports near water. Setup is easy as you just connect though Bluetooth without a problem and not much comes in the packaging which is nice from Insignia. Other than a USB cord you don’t even get much documentation for the device. Overall the speaker was great and had a fun time with it. Very cheap and easy to use WHILE still keeping features that are useful for the customer. 5 stars for the Mini Sonic, while I think that is a little generous that I would like to give this speaker; we tend to get lost in all these overextravagant overcompensating features from speakers when something like this comes along and give you just what you need. Mini Sonic does just that, give you what you need at a affordable price.

Bought several of these for small filler Christmas gifts while on sale. I have to say for the sale price, so far I'm impressed. I've only tried one for about 30 minutes so far. They will not turn your house into a concert hall, but they really do sound better than I thought they would. They are small, convenient and if the specs are correct, the battery life is over 20 hours. Which is 3-4 times longer than competitors. And I hate charging stuff so that is awesome! I also bought some of the Altec Lansing micro units, which are smaller and much shorter battery life but I think these sound better. (Probably because the speaker is a little larger.)

First off, catch this one on sale when you buy it. This speaker has been under $15 on sale several times and even as low as $12.99. This is IPX4 rated, so it can withstand some splashes and moisture, but not made to be submerged in water. Battery life for this size speaker is great, coming in at up to 23 hours. Most small speakers this size only get around 5-10 hours. The Sonic Mini also supports TWS (True Wireless Stereo) when you use two speakers. This has one speaker playing the left channel and the other the right channel. You must have two Mini Sonic speakers to accomplish this, however. You can't use one of the larger Sonic speakers with the Mini for TWS. Sound quality is pretty solid for a small speaker. Bass is a little weak, but kept in perspective it's about what you would expect from a small speaker. Overall, a great little option for a shower speaker especially. Or a bathroom or desk speaker. Two thumbs up.

Was looking at another brand speaker that was more expensive, but found this little gem for way less, and after reading other reviews purchased it. I wanted a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music off my phone while working inside clients homes as a re modeler. Wanted something that would sound OK, but also something not to expensive as it would be exposed to dust. Cannot report on how it holds up to dust, yet but the sound from it is simply amazing, Nice easy to hear sound with the right amount of bass. Went in expecting something just above the sound from a cell phone, ended up with something so much more from something so little.

This is a great entry level bluetooth speaker. It doesn't break the bank, and doesn't over perform for the value either. It has decent sound, especially for the price and great battery life. It is small and easy to carry around, and has clear sound. If you are looking for huge bass, keep shopping but if you just need clear sound at a great price this is the speaker for you!
