Yes, an RF (radio frequency) speaker is wireless and not bluetooth. The typical application would be to use with your TV. You're not going to be able to use your smart phone as a source though, phones would use bluetooth.

Signal is much better than Bluetooth. The only thing is they have to be plugged into an outlet (no battery), which kind of makes them not really wireless, I guess. Great speaker though.

Please try again later.I don't think so, there should be a technology by which you will transfer sound from your device such as Computer, Laptop or Mobile phones to wire less speaker. Bluetooth is just such technology. I am not aware about any other technology which transmit sound without wire.
