I think the Best Buy people will be able to answer your question much better than me I bought the remote because my husband was having so much trouble with the original remote that came with the TV having to replace the battery constantly otherwise I haven’t heard a word from him that he’s unhappy with it the buttons work everything seems to be fine I’m surprise Best Buy employee did not answer this question for you

For Fire TV Edition TVs you need to use the Remote: NS-RCFNA-21
While you press and hold the Mic button try to say: "Tune to channel 2.1".
