“I understand these headphones require you to switch your TV from Dolby 5.1 to PCM mode but my Panasonic plasma Tc-p50s2 does not have a option to switch over. Is there a fix for this?”

Try changing to the optical source using the input source button on the headphones. That’s the best advice I have. Hope that it works better
