“Can someone that is hearing impaired and has trouble hearing normal television benefit from these headphones and can they be used with hearing aids?”

I don't have any issues when I use my Insignia RF wireless headphones over my hearing aid.

Yes that is why I get these. My husband has significant hearing loss. He loves these. You should try them first without the hearing aides. He does not need his hearing aides with these on.
