Yes, use the MT29 tip is for charging your laptop.

Please try again later.The manufacturer states that the unit will work with any of the several adapters that are furnished with the power supply unit (I believe there are six). My need was for a power supply for a Samsung laptop and none of the adapters furnished with the unit would fit so I had to call the manufacturer and order (free of charge) an adapter tip that would fit my Samsung laptop. It required about seven days to arrive, but it was free of charge. The unit is specified to supply up to a certain level of power and almost all laptops are charged with levels of power under that specified level. But the main problem is there are hundreds of proprietary "tips" (adapters) and customers have to procure the correct one. Why all this diversity is necessary is beyond me; why not standardize recharger tips and allow one size to fit all??
