- Answer This will work with a Windows 10 computer, as long as you have a USB-C port on your computer. Just plug it in and it will work.

- Answer Anna, I used my adapter to connect my router with Cat5e cable to a 2019 MacBook Pro with USB-C ports. I don't have a Chromebook, but if it has USB-C ports, this should work for you. I am getting a connection speed of 200 mbps, which is what we paid for, so I'm happy. It should handle up to 1 gbps, but you should use higher-spec cable than Cat5 if you have that fast a connection. - Answer Yes. This is a standard network interface and drivers for this device are provided by macOS. It is completely plug-and-play under Big Sur and Monterey.

- Answer it’s too broad a question. you would need to let me know if you have usb C ports on your device. if you do, the. yes. think of usb as a usb language for all devices. which is what it’s short for. “universal serial bus” so the issue is whether you have a type c or not. if you do then you should be good

- Answer My husband got a new HP Spectre series and we did not realize that there was no ethernet port. We ordered this and it fit well to adapt one of the many new c type ports to an old fashioned ethernet port. His laptop was running well on our WIFI but with 4 computers in the house on WIFI, he felt his signal would be better with a direct connect. It is working well. If your HP is recent...this should be a good adapter.

- Answer if your air 11 is older you need a standard usb to ethernet adapter. the newer 2019-2020 etc use usb c. anything older is standard usb or thunderbolt to ethernet adaptor. that’s probably what you need. if it appears more square.

- Answer No retainer system is part of the USB C spec, so not great long term for a desktop tower, fine for a notebook where dongle can rest on table, so not great in a lap either.

- Answer Well ethernet and phone use different connectors, so probably not... I think there's software and web services that let you fax over the internet if that helps
