“Hi, I don’t have WiFi, so would I be able to use my iPhone 8 as a hotspot and have this speaker linked to it, or must I have a WiFi network available? Just basically want to stream music from my I phone to this speaker when in range when at work.”

why not just set up the blutooth feature for this device. simple is better

Please try again later.yes, you will need one more device though (phone or tablet) to set up the speaker. 1. turn on your hotspot on iphone 8 2. connect your 2nd device to iphone 8 hotspot 3. open google home app on your 2nd device 4. you should be able to set up a new google home device (in this case, a insignia speaker)
