Hi Chris,

Thank you for purchasing our Insignia Voice Smart Bluetooth Speaker. I'll address your inquiries first of all by explaining that this speaker does have cast options so you can definitely cast to it from your mobile devices.

Regarding your question about the display, we are working to enable voice control for display brightness; this will be avaiable on our next software update.

We are also working with Google to turn on day/night control so that night time off will be automatic if you choose this option. I hope this helps you to get the most out of your new speaker.

Hi Chris, the answer is yes it has a Cast option and if you want to turn off the display on the speaker you just have to say :

"OK Google, turn off screen on the speaker"

Try it and you will be sleeping much better :-)

Yes, it can be cast to, and you can adjust the display as needed.
